John I. Jarad, M.D. graduated from Damascus University Medical School in Syria. He completed his residency training at Henry Ford Hospital Center in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Jarad became licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the State of Michigan in 1993. Dr. Jarad is part of various medical organizations and societies which include: American Medical Association (AMA) – Member, American College of Physicians (ACP) – Member, Henry Ford Medical Association (HFMA) – Member, Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) – Member, American Society of Internal Medicine (ASIM) – Member, St. Clair County Medical Society (SCCMS) – Member. Previous positions held include: Chief of Medicine, Port Huron Hospital (2002-2004); President of PHO, Mercy Hospital (2002-2004); Chief of Staff, Mercy Hospital (2004-2006); Director of ICU, Mercy Hospital (2001-2009); Director and Champion of Cerner and EMR, Mercy Hospital (2000-2004).
